Pashinyan Identifies Primary Target and Thorn in the Eye

Every citizen's future is interconnected with the overall prosperity of Armenia, as it is possible to earn well, but in an environment of universal misery and poverty, one does not have the joy and opportunity to enjoy that earnings. On the contrary, there is a sense of isolation and anxiety, knowing that what you have earned through work could be lost due to illegal influences. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a joint meeting of the National Assembly committees discussing the draft budget for 2025.

“Because if there is widespread misery and poverty, segmental prosperity becomes a primary target and a thorn in the eye. In such cases, hatred forms towards any prosperous environment. Therefore, when I say that the state budget is our common large family budget, it is about solidarity. The state budget is a part of each citizen's narrow family budget, because there is not a single family in the country for whose needs expenditures from the state budget are not made. For instance, all pensioners receive pensions from the state budget, all teachers and military personnel receive salaries from the state budget, all schools and roads are built from the state budget, and so on,” Pashinyan said.
