Weightlifter Alexandra Grigoryan Wins Gold at European Championships for Under 20

Member of the Armenian women's weightlifting team, Alexandra Grigoryan, has become the gold medalist at the European Championships for athletes under 20 years of age.

At the competition taking place in Poland, Grigoryan, the reigning adult European champion in the 55 kg category, successfully lifted 81 kg and 85 kg in the snatch category. In the clean and jerk, she managed to lift 105 kg and 115 kg.

With a total result of 200 kg in the two-lift event, she secured the gold medal at the European Championships for under 20 athletes.
