Iran's Supreme Leader Issues Statement

Iranian officials are set to determine the response to the attack carried out by Israel on Iranian territory yesterday. This was stated by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

On the night of October 26, Israel conducted airstrikes on military sites within Iran in response to a massive missile attack from Iranian forces, which they labeled an act of self-defense and retaliation for the elimination of leaders from Hamas and Hezbollah movements.

“The malice of the Israeli regime carried out two nights ago should neither be exaggerated nor minimized... How the strength and will of the Iranian nation will be delivered to the Israeli regime will be determined by the officials. Actions must align with the interests of the nation and the country,” Khamenei was quoted by the Nour News agency.

Israel's defense forces struck military sites in Iran on the night of October 26, in retaliation for attacks on the Jewish state that occurred on October 1.
