VIDEO: Manvel Khndzertsyan Defeats Turkish Opponent

Armenia's representative Manvel Khndzertsyan (57 kg weight category) triumphed over Turkish rival Muhammed Karavus in the round of 16 at the World Wrestling Championships held in Tirana, Albania.

After initially trailing 0-4, Manvel managed not only to even the score but also to take the lead. The match concluded with a score of 11-8 in his favor, sending Khndzertsyan through to the quarter-finals.

The Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling World Championship for the under-23 category commenced on October 21 in Tirana and will conclude on October 27.
