The United States is not participating in Israeli military operations against Iran, said Shawn Savett, spokesperson for the White House National Security Council. "We understand that Israel is conducting targeted strikes against Iranian military facilities as a form of self-defense and in response to the ballistic missile attack by Iran on Israel on October 1," the statement reads, according to CNN.
