Woman Confesses: Details of a Brutal Murder

On October 24, at 12:15 PM, police received a report from the Masis ambulance station that a person had been stabbed in the village of Khachphar. An operational group from the Masis police department was dispatched. In the entrance of the specified house on 11th street in Khachphar, the police discovered the body of the homeowner, 44-year-old Vardan A., with a kitchen knife around his neck.

Thanks to joint operational-investigative measures by officers of the Ararat regional police and the Masis division, the victim's 37-year-old wife was arrested at the scene on suspicion of committing murder. During the explanatory work, she confessed that she had struck her husband multiple times with a kitchen knife during the night.

The woman and the prepared documents have been submitted to the Masis investigative division. A criminal case has been initiated with the characteristics of murder. The circumstances are being clarified.
