«I have said it and I am saying it again - we raise the issues of the captives in all working discussions and meetings, and we are grateful to the countries and organizations that continue to keep this issue on their agenda. We will continue to hold this issue with the same consistency,» Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced from the parliamentary podium.

Responding to opposition MP Lilit Galstyan's question on whether they are preparing to officially declare the necessity of returning captives before COP29, Pashinyan replied that they are acting by assessing what will be effective today: «As soon as we find that our official statement is lacking, we will do it at the earliest moment,» he said.
