This is Only Possible with the Participation of the Russian Federation: Zakharova

A mutually acceptable solution must be found that both Yerevan and Baku will agree to, stated the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a press briefing on the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus.

She emphasized that the unblocking would benefit the entire region.

“I would also like to remind about the comments of Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and co-chair of the trilateral working group on the unblocking of transport routes in the South Caucasus, that the unblocking of economic and transport corridors in the South Caucasus is only possible with the participation of the Russian Federation,” Zakharova said.
