CLOSED: Public Catering Facility on Highway Halts Operations

The inspecting officers of the Food Safety Inspection Body's Lori Regional Center have conducted a control operation at a public catering facility belonging to "VKG" LLC (located in the village of Arjut, Lori region, along the Vanadzor-Spitak highway) and discovered gross violations of sanitary and hygienic norms.

The operations of the public catering facility have been suspended due to the dilapidated condition of the facility's walls and ceiling, which showed signs of mold. Additionally, the work surfaces in contact with food, such as work tables, shelves, and cabinets, had irregular gaps that made cleaning and disinfection difficult.

The supervisory body has set a deadline for eliminating the violations.
