The Measure for the Woman Who Painted Portraits of Fallen Soldiers is Revealed

In connection with the incident of painting portraits of participants of the 44-day war on one of the buildings on Pushkin Street in Yerevan, a 62-year-old woman has been arrested and criminal prosecution has been initiated against her under the first part of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The woman has accepted the charges and stated that she regrets her actions. This was reported by Gor Abrahamyan, the press secretary of the Investigative Committee chairman.

The prosecuting authority has chosen the measure of restraint as a prohibition on leaving, and the individual has been released from this restriction. The preliminary investigation continues.
