The capital of Azerbaijan is experiencing severe flooding as heavy rains continue for the second consecutive day. Streets and roads in Baku have turned into rivers, leading to what many are describing as a 'flood'.

Footage from various locations around the city has circulated on social media, showing streets and roadways literally inundated with rainwater. One video captures the scene of a tunnel in Baku that has been completely flooded, leaving vehicles submerged.

Public transportation has come to a halt in the affected areas of the country, and emergency services have begun evacuating individuals from the flooded regions of Baku and Absheron.
