Student with Gunshot Wound Transferred to Hospital from School

An emergency incident occurred in Yerevan on October 14. Around 16:45, operational information was received at the Mashtots Police Department and the Davitashen Police Department that a student from one of the schools in Yerevan had sought medical assistance at a Yerevan polyclinic with a gunshot wound.

The injury was sustained from a bullet fired from an air rifle during a military science class. According to Shamshyan.com, the child was then diagnosed with a "right thigh injury" and transferred to the "Holy Mother of God" medical center.

At the scene, police discovered that the child was a 10th-grade student at one of the schools in Yerevan. They also established that the injury had been inflicted by a 12th-grade student from the same school when a shot was accidentally fired with an air rifle during a military science class on October 13 at around 11:30.

Documents regarding the incident have been compiled at the Mashtots Police Department and have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia for the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts.
