Russia Strikes Ukrainian Energy Facilities, 37 Thousand Consumers Left Without Power
This morning, Russian military forces attacked energy infrastructure in the Sumy region. Over 100 settlements and 37 thousand consumers have been left without electricity in the Ramensky district.
As a result of the Russian Federation's military aggression, more than 14 thousand consumers in the border areas of the Sumy region have lost electrical supply, affecting 130 settlements. Efforts are underway to address the aftermath of the enemy's attacks.
According to the regional military administration, on October 19, Russian troops shelled the Sumy region 41 times, resulting in 71 explosions in the area. The shelling impacted the communities of Khotinskaya, Yunakovskaya, Miropolskaya, Belopolskaya, Novoslobodskaya, Shaliginskaya, Esmonskaya, Sveskaya, Druzhbovskaya, and Seredino-Budskaya.
Additionally, during the night of October 20, 11 Shaheds were shot down over the region.
