Ukraine Ready to Include Proposals from China, India, and South Africa in Peace Plan
Kiev is prepared to discuss the proposals from China, India, and South Africa aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict during the G20 summit. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference broadcasted by Ukrainian television.
“China, Brazil, and Africa have their own ideas, their own formulas, and proposals. The last time we spoke with Ramaphosa, he said they would like to see their proposals. We are not against it; we are ready to accept your proposals, and if the points of your proposals are based on an international plan and the UN Charter, we are ready to include them in any program,” Zelensky stated.
Zelensky noted that there is a good opportunity to do so in November during the G20 meeting, as all representatives will be present there. He emphasized that they could accept the proposals if they unite the world around a single idea.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sharply criticized the Brazilian-Chinese peace plan, labeling it as unconstructive. Dmytro Kuleba, who recently held the position of Ukraine's Foreign Minister, admitted that the authorities felt competition between their proposed “peace formula” and the plans put forth by Brazil and China.
