VIDEO: Altercation in the Parliament Hallway
During a parliamentary hearing organized by the opposition in the National Assembly today, security personnel forcibly removed Ruben Hakobyan, the head of the 'Akunq' political analysis center, from the hall. They did not provide any explanation, merely stating that it was a directive from the head of the staff.
For a moment, tensions escalated near the door of the 'Hayastan' faction leader's office as Hakobyan attempted to enter and retrieve his belongings, but was denied access. 'Why are you doing this disgraceful thing? I will curse your ancestors, know this,' Hakobyan said.
It is noteworthy that during his speech at the hearings, Ruben Hakobyan stated, 'We must expel these authorities at all costs, and at all costs means to rebel, to form martyr brigades and drive them out.'
Let us remind you that the parliamentary hearings are being held at the invitation of the 'Hayastan' faction, during which the proposed draft statement on 'The Unchangeable Relevance of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia' is being discussed.
