Principal Denies Access to School, Accountant Assaults Parent
A resident of Tigranashen village in the Ararat region has reported an incident where the school principal denied her entry to the school attended by her children, and the accountant physically assaulted her. This was reported by NEWS.am.
Aida Karapetyan told the media that her relationships with the school’s teachers and principal have always been strained, stating that her children are regularly subjected to psychological pressure due to their grades.
Recently, according to the resident of Tigranashen, a literature teacher slapped one of the fifth-grade students for not having prepared for class.
Aida Karapetyan later filmed a conversation with the student, where the boy recounted the incident, and reported the case to law enforcement. After the incident, tensions with the school staff have increased.
“A parent never argues over grades; a parent argues about mistakes and the improper treatment of a child. I went to the school to talk to the principal, but she said she didn’t want to speak with me. I mentioned that I had brought food for the children and needed to pass it on. The principal curtly told me to wait, and when the bell rang, they would come out. I entered the school after lightly pushing my way in,” the resident of Tigranashen recounted.
After entering the school, she noticed the accountant going into the teachers' lounge and coming out, suspecting that the corridor cameras were turned off at that time. Then the accountant approached and began recording the events on his phone,” the media reported.
