Beware of Scams: Samvel Martirosyan on Fake Calls about Accidents

Media expert Samvel Martirosyan warns: "Those who call, hysterically crying that their mom/grandma is in an accident and they need money urgently, have started doing this in Armenian now. Be cautious. Especially, I have warned the elders at home not to get upset."

It is worth recalling that for quite some time, Armenians have been receiving calls about "accidents, relatives being involved in accidents, and requests for money transfers." The callers spoke in Russian.
