Known When the Force of the Active Cyclone Penetrating from the West Will Be Felt

Don't be fooled by the sunny weather; starting from 20:00 this evening, you will feel the strength of the active cyclone penetrating from the west. This was stated by Levon Azizyan, Director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page.

Earlier, the center had reported that due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the west, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in most regions of the republic late in the evening of October 16 and on the night of October 17-18.

The air temperature throughout the republic is expected to gradually decrease by about 6-9 degrees compared to today from October 17 to 19.

Due to heavy rainfall, a significant increase in water levels is anticipated in most rivers of the republic on October 17-18.
