Girl Already Deceased, Boys' Lives Saved: Details on the Kasakh Tragedy
In the Kasakh community of the Kotayk region, a 24-year-old woman was found deceased today, October 16, and two men were discovered unconscious. According to the landlord's account to NEWS.am, the family had rented the apartment just a month ago.
“They had been complaining for a few days that they felt unwell, probably due to food poisoning. They hadn’t gone to the hospital, they just bought medication from the pharmacy and took it. The girl was only 24, and the boy was around 30. The girl's brother was also living with them,” the landlord recounted.
He added that in the morning, the mother of the woman, who lives in the same village, came to check on her daughter, knocked on the door, but nobody answered. “She asked us to help, and her fiancé entered the house through the window and saw that all three were unconscious. We called an ambulance; the girl was already dead, but we managed to save the boys' lives, and they were taken to the hospital,” the landlord explained.
Landlord representatives ruled out the possibility of a gas leak, noting that police officers who arrived at the scene also checked and confirmed that there was no smell of gas. “A few days ago, it was one of the boys' birthdays; the birthday cake and salads were still in the refrigerator. I believe it must have been food poisoning. When we entered the house, we also noticed traces of vomiting,” they reported.
