Body of a Man Discovered: Cause of Death Identified

On the night of October 16, at 1:29 AM, the police operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that an ambulance team from the "Vedi" medical center had been dispatched to Nor Ughi for a stabbing incident, where they noted the death of 34-year-old Serob Stepanyan, a resident of the same village.

According to the operational group of the Ararat police department and the patrol group that responded to the call, it was established that around 1 AM, during a quarrel over a domestic issue at one of the addresses on Tumanyan Street in the village, a 46-year-old man from Pokr Vedi inflicted multiple stab wounds on Serob Stepanyan, resulting in death, and also caused bodily harm to his 37-year-old brother.

As a result of the collaborative efforts of the Ararat police department, regional administration, and patrol service, the 46-year-old man was located, arrested, and taken to the Ararat police department at 2:35 AM. During a personal search, the knife used in the crime was found in his possession.

The documents of the arrested man and the murder weapon have been submitted to the investigation department of Vedi. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
