Words Are Meaningless: Turkey's Foreign Minister on Actions Against Israel

Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated that the international community should boycott Israel and impose sanctions against the country. This was reported by Middle Eastern media according to Interfax.

“We have reached a point where words, diplomacy, and international politics are meaningless. We must start applying sanctions,” Fidan said while addressing a meeting organized by Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party on the Palestinian issue.

Just the day before, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the UN Security Council is not taking action to stop Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
