The NSS Employees Did Not Terrorize Children, Says Armen Abazyan

Regarding the actions taken at the John Kirakosyan School, the National Security Service (NSS) is conducting an investigation. This was reported by the Director of the NSS, Armen Abazyan, in the Parliament.

He also asserted that the service's employees did not terrorize the children during their operations. "The situation presented on the internet, where NSS employees are masked and have terrorized children, I can preliminarily say that such a situation does not exist," Abazyan stated.

He further added that a relevant investigation is being conducted to clarify the NSS's actions in other directions, without providing further details.

It should be reminded that there was significant unrest around this school recently. On October 10, employees of the NSS took a teacher into custody in the presence of minors at the John Kirakosyan school in Yerevan, and it later became known that the teacher, taken out of the school with his hands shackled, has been arrested. He is accused of committing lewd acts against a minor.
