North Korea Blows Up Two Inter-Korean Roads
North Korea has blown up portions of two inter-Korean highways from its side of the border, according to Yonhap, citing South Korean military sources.
Earlier, it was reported that the North Korean army's General Staff announced that beginning October 9, North Korea will block all railway and highway routes connecting its territory to the "main enemy" South Korea and will reinforce defensive structures, notifying American forces to prevent clashes.
"Today at noon, North Korea destroyed segments of the eastern and western highways connecting South and North Korea, located north of the military demarcation line," reported from the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
