U.S. Embassy in Lebanon Issues Urgent Travel Advisory

The U.S. Embassy in Lebanon has urged American citizens in the country to leave immediately. This was reported by 'Voice of America.'

The announcement states that the additional flights organized by the embassy for its citizens departing from Beirut will not continue indefinitely.

It is noteworthy that on October 12, two UN peacekeepers were injured due to an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon. UN Secretary-General António Guterres and several representatives of Western countries condemned the Israeli Defense Forces' attack.

The UN peacekeeping forces described this as a "serious escalation" and stated that the safety of UN personnel and property must be guaranteed.
