New Candidate for Justice Minister Circulating

According to ArmLur.am, a new name is being circulated for the position of Justice Minister within the ruling Civil Contract Party. This time, the candidate is Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan.

Grigoryan is a lawyer by profession and was elected to the National Assembly on December 9, 2018, as part of the proportional list of the 'My Step' alliance. On October 26, 2023, he was reappointed as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan during a special session of the city council.

Suren Grigoryan is also familiar with the justice sector, having served as Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia from April to December 2021.
