Iran's Newly Elected Leadership Shows No Changes in Policy, Says Parliament Speaker

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, met with the Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova. The leaders of the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Iran held discussions in Geneva as part of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Qalibaf stated that the Iranian side is interested in further strengthening relations with Azerbaijan, emphasizing that 'there are no changes in the policy of Iran's newly elected leadership regarding relations with neighboring countries.' This has been reported by Iranian official media.
