Chinese Army Completes Exercises

The Chinese army has completed military exercises around Taiwan. This was announced by the representative of the PLA's Eastern Theater Command, Li Xin, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"The Eastern Theater Command successfully completed the exercises on October 14," he emphasized.

According to Li Xin, the purpose of the exercises was to assess the army's readiness.

Previously, Bloomberg reported that the exercises of the Chinese army and navy were aimed at eliminating small military forces located near Taiwan. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese army has deployed anti-ship missile systems at Hualien Port as the Chinese army conducts exercises near the island.

It is worth noting that on October 14, an official from the Chinese army's Eastern Theater Command announced that China had begun the "2024B" exercises around Taiwan.
