VIDEO: Truck Falls into Arpa River, Injuries Reported

Today, near the Noravank intersection on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a truck fell into the Arpa River. Two individuals were injured. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

The rescuers who arrived at the scene determined that at the 110th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a "Scania" truck (driver: Z. G., born in 1990) had gone off the roadway and ended up in the river. Before the rescuers reached the scene, the driver and passenger V. M. (born in 1977) managed to exit the truck's cabin.

The rescuers disabled the truck and used a rescue ladder to bring the individuals to safety, after which they were taken to an ambulance. The injured have been hospitalized at a medical center.
