Don't Wake the Beast: Medvedev

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, in response to a threat from the former Chief of Staff of the Polish Army, Raimund Andrzejczak, to strike St. Petersburg, has urged him to remember the various periods of Poland's history and "not to wake the beast." Earlier, German media reported that Andrzejczak threatened to carry out a missile strike on St. Petersburg in the event of a Russian attack on the Baltic states, such as Lithuania.

“Another brave figure has emerged: the former Chief of General Staff of Poland, Andrzejczak, is threatening to attack Russia ‘directly on St. Petersburg.' He, a retired fool, should remember the many parts of Poland and not awaken the beast. After all, Warsaw was part of the Russian Empire. Do you miss it?” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
