Kadyrov Threatens Youth of His Country with Military Service in Russia
The Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has stated on his Telegram channel that instead of subjecting young offenders in the republic to administrative penalties, they will be sent to contract service in a special military operation zone.
Kadyrov announced that this applies to the youth who "believe that no laws are written for them" and who lead a "lazy, immoral lifestyle." He stated that this applies to individuals who can provoke conflicts, drive under the influence of prohibited substances, park incorrectly, or "violate traffic rules with pride."
"Either behind bars for the maximum term, or sign a contract and go to the special military operation zone," Kadyrov noted in his post. The Chechen leader pointed out that it is more appropriate to send these offenders to serve in the Russian Armed Forces rather than imposing administrative punishment. According to him, a new battalion is currently being formed in the republic to accommodate 2,500 individuals. "There will be places for everyone," Kadyrov remarked.
