How Many Journalists Has Israel Arrested in a Year? Al Jazeera

Israeli military forces have arrested a total of 108 Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank since October 7, 2023. According to human rights organizations, Israel is holding at least 58 employees of Palestinian media in detention.

Among those detained are six women, whose identities have already been confirmed. Overall, as noted by the organization, since the beginning of the conflict, the Israeli side has issued more than 9,000 release orders for Palestinians, including women and children.
