Biden Delays Visit to Germany as Storm Milton Could Be One of the Most Destructive in a Century

The storm Milton, approaching the shores of Florida, could become one of the most destructive storms in a century in this region, said U.S. President Joe Biden.

“God willing, that won’t happen, but it certainly looks that way right now,” he stated, urging local residents to evacuate. “This is a matter of life and death.”

The President also assured that he has been in talks with representatives from all political factions in the region, promising them “any support that may be needed.”

Earlier, the White House press office announced that the trips to Germany and Angola, scheduled in the presidential calendar for these days, have been postponed due to the storm.
