Armenia is One Step Away: 'Hraparak'

“Hraparak” reports: The government has submitted the regulations for the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border to parliament for ratification. While Armenia is hurriedly ratifying it and is arguably just one step away from formal approval in all instances, there is uncertainty regarding this issue in Azerbaijan. Baku has not even released the text of the agreement, and it is unclear when the Milli Majlis will discuss it.

The rapporteur of the draft in the National Assembly of Armenia is Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who also heads the Armenian side of the commission. It is worth noting that the Constitutional Court also examined the draft with great speed, and the judges of the high court presented a decision within three days that it complies with the Constitution of Armenia. The members of the ruling My Step bloc have not yet been informed about when it will be included on the agenda.
