VIDEO: Formal Notification Does Not Save Lives – The Reality

A few days ago, Auroranews received an alarming report from listeners indicating that the removal of pedestrian crossings in the Mashtots-Moscow and Mashtots-Isahakyan areas had created a dangerous situation. It was also noted that the municipality had been distributing videos about various measures on all possible platforms for several days, but in this case, proper notification to the public had not been conducted.

In response to Auroranews' publication, the municipality insisted that the announcement regarding traffic changes on September 27 also mentioned the removal of pedestrian crossings in the aforementioned areas.

Today, Auroranews revisited the site to understand how adequate the public notification had been and how informed the people were about the canceled crossings. We also tried to assess how well-equipped the modified areas were for both vehicles and pedestrians.
