Until When Will the Nor Hajn Bridge Remain Closed

Due to ongoing reconstruction work, traffic on the Nor Hajn Bridge (located on the H-6/H-2 Nor Geghi-Eghvard transportation hub/M-1 motorway), will remain closed until November 12 of this year, as announced by the Road Department.

Until November 12, vehicles without trailers can bypass the Nor Hajn Bridge using the H-2/H-1 (Abovyan)-Arzni/H-6-Nor Geghi route, while vehicles with trailers must use the T-6-54/H-5-Karenis-Charenjavan/H-1 and H-5/H-6 (Nor Geghi)-Argel-Arzakan-Hrazdan roadways.

It is noteworthy that, based on the contract with the contractor, the completion of the bridge reconstruction is scheduled for July 2025. However, efforts are being made to complete the reconstruction of the Nor Hajn Bridge ahead of the deadline, with the aim of finishing the trafficable section by the end of 2024.
