As a result of the fire that broke out in the storage area of the Domus hypermarket, one person was transported by ambulance to Shengavit Medical Center. This was reported by Ruben Grigoryan, the director of the Ambulance Service.

“One person was also treated on site, having experienced a decline in health. The patient who was transported to the medical center reportedly suffered from palpitations,” Grigoryan detailed.

It is recalled that according to a statement from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a call was received by the National Crisis Management Center on October 7 at 12:57 PM, notifying that a fire had broken out in the storage area of the Domus hypermarket located on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan.

Four fire-fighting teams and one ladder truck from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene with a complexity rating of “1 BIS.” A complexity rating of “2” was later declared, leading to the deployment of two additional fire-fighting teams, one ladder truck, operational responders from the National Crisis Management Center, Medical Support Department, as well as various teams from the Fire and Rescue Operations organization and a psychologist for psychological support.

Given the complexity of the fire, a complexity rating of “3” was subsequently declared, prompting the dispatch of four more fire-fighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department.
