Fake Photo Manipulation Uncovered: Responses to Alerts through the 'Active Citizen' Platform

During a session of the Yerevan City Hall, there was a discussion regarding alerts received through the hotlines and the 'Active Citizen' platform. The head of the secretariat, Lilit Yavryan, reported that the information provided through the active platform is verified with photographs.

"During this period, instances of factual distortion have been revealed. Specifically, an employee from the Nor Nork administrative district attempted to present work that had not been completed as completed by using 'Photoshop.' The fraud was detected by the staff, and appropriate measures have been taken. There is information that this employee has been dismissed from work at their own request," she stated.
