Elon Musk Announced Interest in Collaborating with Armenia

During the closing ceremony of WCIT 2024 in Armenia, Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, delivered a special message expressing enthusiasm for future projects in the country. It was anticipated that Musk would appear via video, but instead, he made an exclusive announcement read by American-Armenian businessman Razmik Hovagimyan during the event on October 7, according to 'Zartonk Media.'

“Hello everyone, I’m sorry I couldn’t come to Yerevan this time, but I hope to come next time. I am excited about bringing Starlink to Armenia and working on some exciting projects with the local tech community, from exploring space to developing transparent and open artificial intelligence that pushes the boundaries of human understanding,” Musk’s message stated.

Musk confirmed that he hopes to launch Starlink in Armenia soon, a move expected to significantly improve internet connectivity in remote areas. “Starlink’s ultra-fast satellite internet has the potential to revolutionize communications, especially in rural areas, helping to bridge the digital divide in the country,” the source reported.

In addition to Starlink, Musk expressed a desire to collaborate with the Armenian tech community on projects related to space exploration and open artificial intelligence.
