Israeli Air Force Bombs Beirut
Intense fires have erupted in the southern suburbs of Beirut due to bombings by the Israeli Air Force. According to a correspondent from TASS, the aircraft have carried out at least 16 targeted strikes on underground facilities and warehouses belonging to the Hezbollah Shiite organization.
Powerful explosions have been heard throughout the city, with fiery bursts visible in the sky and thick columns of black smoke rising. A source from the local civil defense service reported that warehouses containing ammunition and explosives have been hit in several locations. A gas storage facility used by Shiite factions on the main highway leading to Rafik Hariri International Airport has been destroyed. Firefighters are working to extinguish the flames, which could spread to nearby buildings.
