Has Iran Issued a NOTAM Air Warning?

The news regarding Tehran issuing a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) concerning flight safety in the western part of the country is false, and no such action has taken place, stated Javad Salehin, head of communications and international relations at Imam Khomeini International Airport.

Earlier, several media outlets reported that amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Iran had supposedly issued a NOTAM for the airspace in the western part of the country related to military exercises.
