UN to Convene Emergency Security Council Meeting

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting regarding the situation in the Middle East on October 3.

Iran, for its part, has called on the UN Security Council to intervene to put an end to Israel's aggression against Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria, and to prevent a large-scale war in the Middle East, according to the Iranian mission to the UN.

It is worth noting that Iran's Foreign Ministry had previously urged the UN Security Council to take decisive measures to counter Israel's "new threats."
