Iran's Armed Forces issue statement

Iran will strike at the bases and interests of its adversaries in the Middle East if they launch an attack, the country's Armed Forces General Staff has announced.

“If allies of the regime participate in an attack on Iran, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic will deliver a powerful blow to their centers and interests. This will make them repent,” the General Staff's statement was quoted by the IRIB television channel.

On the evening of October 1, Iran carried out a massive missile strike on Israel. U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the attack should have consequences, but the United States does not wish to see an escalation of the conflict.

The Israel Defense Forces have promised to deliver powerful strikes against targets in the Middle East.
