Earthquake Recorded in Armenia
An earthquake has been recorded in the Armenia-Georgia border region. On October 2, at 03:38 local time (23:38 GMT on October 1), the seismic protection service of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7. The epicenter was located at north latitude 41.13° and east longitude 43.98°, approximately 15 km east of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the ground shaking in the epicentral area was assessed at 5 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in several settlements of Shirak Province, with an intensity of 4-5.
