Vyacheslav Dobrynin Has Died

Vyacheslav Dobrynin, the Soviet composer, pop singer, and People's Artist of Russia, has passed away at the age of 78. The information was confirmed by the artist's wife, Irina Dobrynina, in a conversation with RBC.

According to the source, the 78-year-old singer died at a Moscow clinic, where he had been hospitalized a week earlier due to suspected stroke. Earlier, the singer's wife mentioned that he had not performed for several years and had ceased all tours. She stated that the family had been focused on the artist's treatment.

Dobrynin was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Golden Gramophone, Song of the Year, and Ovation. He began his career as a composer and later started performing his own songs. He has released more than 35 albums. Some of his most famous works include "Не сыпь мне соль на рану," "Ты разбила мне сердце," and "Синий туман."

Dobrynin was born on January 25, 1946, in Moscow. His father, Lieutenant Colonel Galust Petrosyan, was from Lori, and his mother, Anna Antonova, was a nurse of Russian descent. Dobrynin himself never bore the Petrosyan surname. His last visit to Armenia was 12 years ago, in 2012.
