Did Moscow Have Prior Knowledge of Iran's Attack?

Moscow was aware in advance of Iran's planned attack on Israel. An Iranian senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated to Reuters, "Tehran informed Russia prior to launching missile strikes on Israel."

Despite this, Iran did not notify the United States about its plans to attack Israel, which subsequently led to a "serious warning" being issued. This information was reported by the Iranian mission to the United Nations.
