How Many People Died in Lebanon in One Day

In various regions of Lebanon, more than 60 people have died and 90 have been injured in one day due to Israeli strikes. This was reported today by the country's Ministry of Health.

"As a result of Israeli strikes on various regions of Lebanon, 63 people have died and 90 have been wounded, which is a preliminary result of the Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and the Beirut region," the statement said.

Since last week, the Israeli Air Force has been conducting mass strikes targeting Hezbollah positions in different areas of Lebanon. There have also been several targeted airstrikes towards Beirut, resulting in the elimination of senior Hezbollah commanders. Currently, the Israeli army has reported strikes on several thousand Hezbollah targets.

Observers note that Israel has not attacked Hezbollah with such intensity since the second Lebanese war in 2006. Hezbollah is responding primarily with rocket fire directed at northern Israel, but in recent days, the range of these rocket attacks has significantly increased. Dozens of barrages have been recorded daily towards Israeli settlements, with residential buildings being targeted, leading to injuries. In particular, a rocket was fired toward the Tel Aviv area, which was intercepted by air defense systems.
