Second Stabbing Incident Registered at Yerevan State College of Informatics

A 16-year-old student has stabbed a classmate at the Yerevan State College of Informatics. This information was reported by Shamshyan.

The police received information about the incident from the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs on September 27 at around 12:30 PM. The "Uigmor" medical center alerted authorities, reporting that a teenager had been admitted with a diagnosis of a "stab wound to the outer surface of the left thigh." It was revealed that the victim is a 16-year-old boy from Yerevan, who was transported from the college to the hospital.

The college director, Robert Abrahamyan, told the police that the student sustained the injury while running and accidentally bumped into the sharp edge of a table. However, the police clarified that a stabbing occurred at the college, with one 16-year-old boy having stabbed his classmate.

The suspect presented himself to the Arabkir division of the police together with Mariam Israelian, a security officer of the college. It is noteworthy that a similar incident has already occurred at the State College of Informatics earlier this year.
