Israel and Hezbollah Strike Each Other Again: Current Situation
The Israeli army has reportedly absorbed at least 65 rockets fired from Lebanese territory during the night. This information comes from The Times of Israel. According to their data, 30 of these rockets were launched targeting the city of Safed. As a result of the rocket attack, a 68-year-old woman sustained minor injuries.
An additional 35 rockets were fired towards the Lower and Western Galilee regions.
The Israeli Defense Forces' air force conducted strikes in the vicinity of Beirut's international airport, as reported by Al Mayadeen television. Their report stated that the airport continues to serve flights and air traffic has not been halted.
Earlier, the Israeli army's press service indicated that the air force was targeting facilities belonging to the Shiite Hezbollah organization in Beirut. Following an Israeli strike on Friday in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Hezbollah's underground headquarters was located, the death toll has risen to 6, with at least 91 people injured. This was reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Initial reports had indicated 2 fatalities and 76 injuries.
