Regulations on Border Demarcation Comply with the Constitution: Constitutional Court

The Constitutional Court has determined that the obligations enshrined in the regulations regarding the joint activities of the border demarcation commission between Armenia and Azerbaijan conform to the Constitution. This information has been reported by the Court.

The decision also states that it is final and comes into effect upon publication. The Constitutional Court has published only the concluding part of the decision, noting that the full ruling will be posted on the official website of the Constitutional Court within the legally prescribed timeframe.

It is noted in that section: “The obligations enshrined in the regulations signed on August 30, 2024, regarding the Joint Activities of the State Commission for Border Demarcation and Security Issues between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan are in compliance with the Constitution.”
