It Is Time for Turkey to Quickly Adjust Its Relations with Yerevan, Says Former Turkish MP
Among the bilateral meetings that Erdogan held in New York on the occasion of the UN General Assembly, the one with Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan was perhaps the most significant. This was noted by former Turkish parliament member Ahmet Erozan on social media.
“Although we do not have details about their meeting, the fact that it took place is extremely important. While the principle of ‘one nation, two states’ is fundamental, it is time for Turkey to distinguish its relations with Armenia from the politics of other countries and quickly adjust its relations with Yerevan. We cannot overlook the advantageous signal for Turkey regarding the steps to be taken. Moreover, Aliyev has even found the audacity to officially reject Erdogan regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” wrote the former MP.
